THE HEART AND SOUL BEHIND INCORPORATE JOI.
My middle name is Joi, and it carries a legacy.
Before I ever took my first breath, there was another little girl in my family named Joi. She lived for only one week. She was the first girl. The one who changed everything.
I never had the chance to meet her, but my mother chose to carry her legacy forward through me. For years, I did not fully understand the weight of that gift. Now I carry it with intention.
Joi was never just a name. It was a calling.
That calling became my purpose long before I realized it.
Growing up, my family gathered more often in moments of loss than celebration. Those were the reunions. Those were the milestones. It shaped the way I see time, connection, and the importance of honoring the moments that matter while we still can.
That is what led me here.
What began as helping friends plan their celebrations quickly grew into something more intentional. With my mother’s unwavering support and my grandmother beside me folding napkins and styling tables, the foundation for Incorporate Joi was quietly being built long before the business had a name.
Incorporate Joi is more than a business. It is a tribute. A legacy carried forward through celebration, connection, and joy that does not wait for permission.
