THE HEART AND SOUL BEHIND INCORPORATE JOI.
My middle name is Joi, and it carries a story.
Before I ever took my first breath, there was another little girl in my family. Her name was Joi too, but she only lived for one week. She was the first girl, and the one who changed everything. I never got to meet her, but my mom chose to carry her legacy through me. I didn’t fully understand it growing up, but now I feel the weight of it in the most beautiful way. Joi was more than a name. It was a calling.
That name became my purpose before I even realized it.
Growing up, my family mostly gathered in moments of loss, not celebration. That was our version of a reunion. It made me realize how often we wait to gather, to feel, to honor the moments that matter, until it’s too late.
That’s what led me here.
What started as helping friends plan their events grew with my mom’s unwavering support and my grandmother right beside me, making me fold napkins, design tablescapes, and make things beautiful long before I had a company name. Together, we laid the foundation for something bigger than us.
Incorporate Joi is more than a business. It’s a tribute. A ministry. A luxury planning experience rooted in legacy, connection, and joy that doesn’t wait for permission.
